Consistently create original content, and make an effort to improve your quality and audience engagement as your skill grows. Give proper attribution to any content you didn't create. Cite your sources for images. Include links where possible. Avoid violating copyright laws and basic netiquette. Decline payout when in doubt.

How to get downvotes/flags:

Buying votes. Posting copy/pasted content. Failing to offer proper attribution to copied content, or worse yet, engaging in blatant plagiarism. Using abusive language, racist diatribes, or other reprehensible behavior toward others.
