The spam is rampant these days so it's definitely a good idea to spread to people that are new here the idea that spamming is not a good idea and that they will not achieve anything meaningful by doing this.
I'm a fan of this preemptive approach. When I'm replying to spammers, would you mind if I search for a comment from you and link to it to point out they were warned?
