Networking is an important skill to be aware of while you work with social networking sites like SteemIT. Connecting with people is cool, we're all unique beings in this experience known as life. Networking to me is interacting with other members of the community, forming supportive friendships, and most of all enjoying yourself! Here's a few tips I've compiled for networking with SteemIT and connecting with other users.
Comment on posts you like!
This is one of the fundamental features of this site, it lets us get feedback on our comment and also allows us to contribute and further develop other peoples works with our opinions and questions. This is also a great way to meet people who are into the same things you are, and you never really know where a newfound friend will lead you.
here we have user @dimon14 sharing his love of marihuana with @cryptohustlin , a beautiful moment.
If you notice someone posting about stuff your into you can go ahead and follow that person, that way you can see when they post new articles, and you can further comment with each other. This is how connections and friends are made.
Post what you're passionate about
If you post what your passionate about then you will be more likely to want to connect with people who are also passionate about that subject. If you post about a topic you don't care about and people start talking to you about it, you're not going to really care. Post about what you love and you will love to talk about it and network with others surrounding the topic!
Come chat on Steemit.Chat
Like connecting with people in real time? Me to! You should head over to the SteemIT chat where you can talk about anything and there's even a place to share your links if you're looking to get some interested readers looking at your content. It's a great way to make friends that are also interested in SteemIT, Just like you! Plus, there's some funny people in chat, It's good for a giggle :)
Stay in touch
Form bonds with people, Have a list of people you like and upvote their new posts if you like them. The repetition will get you noticed and people appreciate the effort and will be more likely to help you up as well! This really just boils down to establishing supportive friendships, build a team, work together, that's what it's all about anyway, Right? :)

I definitely agree! Networking is a HUGE part of success on Steemit, including if you have a large network of friends/followers before you come here!
