Aren't the files in the GitHub repository deprecated? Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I see the old website files there. It's my first time contributing via GitHub though so maybe I'm missing something.

    The old steem.io repository will either be updated or replaced with the new content in the near future. Many of us are at steemfest so time is limited this weekend :)

    It's okay, I understand. I've put up a couple of suggestions over at the GitHub repository already (as issues because pull requests are a bit too technical for me ☺) and I've got more suggestions coming.
