Steemliber was a bandaid solution to a big problem, how to let users see what content is trending without promoted posts hogging up all the top spots. No one was acting upon that issue so I decided to take matter into my own hands and create steemliber: https://steemliber.com/ - the basic functions are all there, browsing, commenting and voting and the service will be up but not actively developed anymore since there's no need for it now thanks to Steeve. I still have couple ideas left for Steem before moving on as a hobbyist developer. It's been great, Steem offers an easy way to start building your own web apps from scratch and I recommended everyone to give it a try, back then documentation was lacking but the community help more than made up for it. These days it should be even easier.
I suggest everyone looking to use Steem without bidbots should check out https://www.steeve.app/login, they have done fantastic job!
