In lieu of these facts, we can only conclude this site is a trollers paradise. Like many aspects of Facebook, it is filled with hate and anger. So in this regard, it is good competition for Facebook.

As much as trolling and unnecessary flagging are serious issues to be dealt with by Steemit, this article is an exaggeration.

The proposal you pushed forward is good. But some would argue that putting a cap on number of post isn't necessary. What we should be focussed on is decentralizing "benefits" and how to make sure people are discouraged from multiple posts when one or a limited number of post per day would suffice.

But of course, all arguments are welcome, especially in these early days. I hope the teams involved would make the best decisions for the platform going forward.
