The Steemit is using the best incentives of all - money. However, I see this platform as charity as well. Giving to people who are in needs and rewarding those who are adding values. I power up when I first found out that this crypto exist and it can incentivize freelance people who are in financial struggle. I have many friends in the Philippines and by supporting and showing them how am I doing it, I already teaching them how to fish. As an old saying says, "Give him a fish, you will feed him for a day; Teach him how to fish, you will feed him for a lifetime". For me, it is a sustainable charity of giving.
