Haha, Thanks for reading it completely. You were lucky to get noticed by curie. I got to know about curie when I was already 52 with reputation, and thus never got voted by it even after writing good content. :(

Anyway, I think being on "trending" is more important then being on "new". Isn't it?

    Yeah unfortunatelly Curie is not only about skill but also about luck..

    I agree, one post on "trending" is worth more than 20 posts on "new". However to get on trending you need a extremly strong fanbase, or some whales.. Or atlest a very strong fanbase which can get you to "hot" and then to "trending".
