Thank you for your excellent and uplifting words, coming from a newb that literally discovered steemit last night and joined your community this morning. This is all so wild to me. And freeing, as I am starting my own farming business this year and am so entirely sick of working in corporate America. I look forward to adding valuable content to steemit, to HELP people grow their own food, encourage people to start their own businesses by sharing my journey in doing so.

With the right attitude, this place is a path few ever envisioned. Try to stay positive and realize that it does require effort. However, over time, you can build a following and get involved with people that will help you. I suggest doing a lot of commenting over the first 6-8 weeks. This will really help you to develop some ongoing interaction with people.
