Here are some easy ways to increase your curation rewards
Get your steem Power up by purchasing it.
Look for undiscovered posts.
Mind your Votes.
Each vote you make consumes your voting power.
Only vote on worthy content.
Remember when voting power is at 100%, each vote will cost 2% voting power. So, If Voting power regenerates at a fixed rate of 0.83% per hour or 20% per day, I can make 12-15 votes daily while maintaining 100% voting power.
Always check your voting power at: https://steemd.com/@yourusername.
Utilize as much voting power as possible. "Making 100 votes at 100% strength would offer greater curation rewards than 100 votes at 10%.
Don't vote on a post that has already earned a lot of money and is already high up on the Trending.
Dont' vote on succesful authors. "Dig for great undiscovered posts, promising new authors, and get the word out about them".
Always remember that the first 30 minutes of a post creation, a proportion of the curation rewards are donated back to the author.
After finding an exceptional post sitting at $0.00 and voting it up, let other larger curators and SP holders know. Share these posts with whales and dolphins by resteeming the post up to 5 or 6 times a day.
Always wait till at least the 21 minute mark and vote with a 70% strength.
Remember to make a database of the authors, list how popular they are, the content they write, and who votes for them, so you can access this data instantly.
Your best way to get the message out is by resteeming the post.

Here is a quick explanation on: STEEM Power VS STEEM
Steem power is like karma - you are rewarded for making good posts and for upvoting other people's posts (known as curation).
Steem power is normally kept in your account and cannot be traded.
The more STEEM power you have, the more influencial you are on STEEM - your articles and votes will be worth more.
If at any point you want to start trading your power for fiat money (eg, USD), you will have to power down your account.
Power downs take about 13 weeks to complete. What you get is a tradable form of STEEM Power, called STEEM. This can now be exchanged on any exchange that supports it.

Don't quote me on this as a definite but I was told that the only way RESTEEMING something makes you money is if you commented on that post. What your basically doing is hosting the article in hopes someone in your follows sees your comment and upvotes it, I was put under that impression that is about all you ever get from RESTEEMING, I could be wrong but I haven't seen too much about RESTEEMING out there.

These are also nice reminders for new comers and veterans. I tell my friends to consider the tai chi principle of 70/30. If they are going to vote a lot, then maybe vote at 30% power so that they are not drained. But if they are new and vote just a little, then 70% is fine because their account will recuperate. I try to vote betweetn 10-30 for a couple reasons: I vote a lot. As much as I can. So my power goes down. And for posts that are older than a few days, I am not going to see any rewards, but I want to add a couple cents, I will still vote. I am thankful I met you here, I look forward to more of your posts. Over time we humble homies will be taking care of each other each day. Be well!
