hi guys i am still trying to learn and understand steemit and when you blog or vlog you make steem power or steem liquid . who pays these monies if somone tells me i would be happy . craig grant is explaining but at the and i will understand .i really want to invest in steem and i am sure there is future on steem anyway see you at next blog

The money comes from steem currency. Think of it as a fee of the users. When you up vote something you are telling steem "this is good content and I support it" then steem looks at how many up votes the post got, and converts it to steem money which you get a payout. You can check your wallet in the settings. The more content that is created and published, the more steem currency is created.

The money comes from the issuance of new coins, which follows fixed rules so there is a limited and predictable supply. Very similar to Bitcoin.

Another way to look at it is that every time there is a payout, all other users are diluted a tiny amount. It's like collectively owning a huge pie, we are paying each other with tiny shares of the pie.
