Steempeak (frontend) is also down... :(
At this point the only way to access the steem blockchain is through the main webpage (www.steemit.com) & wallet (www.steemitwallet.com)
It's going to be rough day for the steem network, it looks as though the hault is going to affect whole network of dapps & services that were developed in the past 4 years.
UPDATE!
The mobile version fine, the earlier halt was due to some issues with Steemconnect. It is now operational as usual. And the desktop version was never affected.

You can access Steampeak with the Steem Keychain browser extension (chrome or firefox) from @yabapmatt

Got it! I'm currently accessing it through my mobile. It was working earlier but not anymore. I'll have to check on it as soon as I have my desktop with me. Thanks for the info
@fabien made a fix on SteemConnect and everything is back to normal, you can use steempeak on your mobile now ;)
