RE: Unity Is Crucial For Hive: Our Greatest Strength Must Be Maintained

I know that you are always trying to reply, so no problem.
Commenting is according to me more valuable, than actually writing the initial post. The initial post, does give the people the chance to interact with the author or other commenters. It's like the fuel of Steemit. It is a shame, that not enough of us see it this way!
I did wrote a post today that Steemit sometimes looks like a circle of friends and that people don't take the effort to expand their circle or try to build a new circle. (you can read on my blog) One of the comments I did receive (@tradurgurl for the idea) is that steem sometimes more looks like a café where everybody shouts a lot of things, but only a few react on questions. I always try to respond on each genuine comment or reply I do receive. Cause we can't call Steemit a social media platform if there is no interaction!

But also in Steemit you can browse through the replies one is getting. So not getting notifications is no excuses, according to me! Sometimes it is hard to know when the interaction has ended or not.
Let's stick together and make Steemit a great place to come. Where people do share different viewpoints and discuss these with respect for another vision!

Depending upon the topic of discussion, there is a lot of wisdom in the comment section...like you said, it is often a more valuable resource than the article itself.

An article is one person's view...the comments can have many people sharing their insights.....

Good analogy...
