This whale BS will kill STEEM imho
Fred Steem is only a disappointment for us when we set our expectations unrealistically. I earned next to nothing on 500 blog posts and hundreds of videos my first several YEARS trying to make a contribution online. When we expect to jump onto Steem with no audience or investment and earn money without any previous blogging experience writing mostly self interested posts and then we leave calling Steem a failure, our own expectations failed us. All of my friends that have repeatedly made an effort on Steem have succeeded in having a least one post earn thousands of USD dollars in rewards even without my upvote or support. All of my friends that expected huge payouts, called Steem a failure, and gave up missed out on the majority of the opportunity.
Our lives are what we make of them and a lot of us quit trying right when we are about to succeed. I felt tempted to quit on Steem myself right before the price explosion and fortunately I have done that so many times in other endevours I did not make the same mistake again.
Fortunately we can always come back and try again on Steem even if giving up in disappointment at first.
