So writing my second post here.
It is about how social media is making our real life boring and depressed.
On social media we do crazy stuff, we create memes, and make trolls in front of thousands people.
But what about our real life, We feel shy to crack a single joke in front of 5-6 people.
Is social media eating up our real life?
Because of internet our new generation is feeling so much alone in real life?
Basically everyone have hundreds or thousands of friends on social media but what about real life?
Are people of this generation depending too much on internet friends?
Making new friends on internet is good thing no doubt, But having none in real life is good thing you think?
So it is 2018 and many of teenagers spend their half time of the day on the social media.
It is dangerous for them for their future,
Because of depending too much on social media,
we stay between the closed door for hours and hours and do not talk with anyone in real life,
We think that social media is our real life,
We make friends on social media, we make enemies on social media,
In fact if something happens bad on our virtual life we stay depressed in real life for many days.
We don't like to make conversation with friends in real life because we think that our virtual life friends are very cool, and real life friends are boring,
But this is not right, They are cool because they are behind the screen, They are using their keyboards instead of their mouth,
They don't have to feel shy to write anything.
Nowadays we see many posts on social media saying that alcohol and smoking is good thing, It will make you cool,
But post makers don't know how a single post can make effect on today's generation.
This is how social media is making our real life so unreal.
I'm not saying to not to use social media, Using social media is good but totally depending on it is not good.
And believe me making a conversation with anyone in real life is way better than making conversation with someone on social media.
Not really accurate when it comes to Irish people;) I first moved to Ireland in 2006, then after years of balancing between different countries came back in 2012. Ireland is an IT hub of Europe and Irish people are very modern. However, when it comes to the private, "real", an offline life they are probably the best people to have around. Friendly, love to sing and love to party.
The thing about smoking - it is not trendy anymore. Nowadays being healthy is trendy. I am smoker anyway;)
Good luck and be more positive;)
Here in India, 50% youth is wasting their lives on facebook and whatsapp, I'm also one of them.
And many of them don't have a real life, for them social media is everything.
