Shipbuilding here in Philippines is a bet different from the other countries ship building
we usually build a ship in the sand.
Particular procedure on ship building
- installation of ships base flatform/center keel (bottom portion of the ship)
- installation of division bulkheads/storage divider (this is were they stored the fish they catch)
- installation of vertical frames (this frames are the frames that support and give strength to the vessel to avoid being
deformed from their positions) - installation of longitodinal frames ( this frame gives the most important support to the vessel to have more durability)
- fabrication of vow and volvous ( curve front portion of the ship)
- fabrication and installation of engine room bulkhead ( a division plate that separates engine room from storage)
- fabrication and intallation of main deck flooring (this is the flooring located at the uppr part of the ship somehow called
weather deck flooring) - Fore castle deck (this is located at the forward section of the vessel above the vow
- accomodition (this is where passengers of the vessel stay in time of their seafaring
- Boat deck (this Located at the upper part of the accomodition where chemney and engine room skylight s are
those are the parts of the vessels as of now for the other technical areas I will discuss some other time thank you for your time reading my interpretation..
