RE: Do Something Cool Related To STEEM This Week?

in #steem6 years ago

Hi Dan,

I am thrilled to introduce you to my long-time author friend, Raven H. Price, who goes by @roaringpurr here and everywhere.

As Amazon authors, we have been friends for years on multiple platforms, and thanks to my incessant STEEM cheer-leading in those places, she recently contacted me to say she wanted in.

Well, steemit went for weeks not letting her in with their mess of a non-system. I mentioned this in a comment to the amazing @paulag who immediately came to the rescue and set up a free account with a delegation to boot! So Raven has just been here a few days and is learning, learning, learning.

So far she has gotten to know @share2steem and is working on a couple of other dApps. She has joined the redfishleague and contacted me many times with questions. This woman is a powerhouse in so many places, and I know she can succeed here.

I will be so grateful if you can follow her, vote, put her on any bots, and give any kind of encouragement. Raven is just the type of person we need here and she has the chops to get it done. She also has 1000's of fans in other places who just might follow her here. These are all active, non-crypto people we don't often reach.

Raven sent this message out to our mutual author friends the other day. By the time I saw it she was already back on track and so enthusiastic again.

(Keep in mind, we are both old, lol)

It is amazing what happens when you make your mind relax. Technology is advancing at such a fast pace and it is hard for me to understand and use at times. I've started something that requires me to be a global promoter and journalist and I almost lost my joy trying to figure out their system. After overdosing on coffee my nerves were fried and this forced me to put everything down.

I closed my eyes, and simply talked with God for a few minutes. I knew better than pray with a worried mind. I gratefully said I knew it was His will for me to be with this project or the doors wouldn't have opened for me. Then I asked for help and understanding with an expectation. Lastly I napped for a bit then started the process again. People in the program volunteered their help. My mind wasn't jumbled and we got things clicking.

It only takes a minute with God to change your world.

Many thanks to you for all you do for us, @theycallmedan. Your encouragement and help means so much to so many of us here, and we are lucky to have you.
