RE: JBC SMT Launch Canceled, Buyers Refunded, Voting Bot Coming Back Online!

in #steem6 years ago

Interesting that the smt is so challenging, @jerrybanfield. I was noticing you in the bots still.

One thing you can do to change the steemit world in a positive way is to change your bot's zero minute time after posting to 20 minutes. As I told you in my last reply to you, I am in there often and trying to figure it out. Something I just found out is that many of the users in the bots are loading up in the first 15 minutes so that they can alter the curation percentage to their favor. One person is aiming for 12% and is close to it.

This is done by waiting for you and a few other big bots, and all the small ones who accept zero minute bids. Then they are ready to bid and post at the "right" minute. They do not care if the bots crash - they just want the maximum $$$ upvote possible in the first 15 minutes. By doing this trick, they get the curation percent to be rock bottom.

Now I know why you and the other zero minute bots crash time after time.

It looks like I am going to be one of the next content creators to fail and leave steemit. After one year I really need to admit to myself that this is not going to work. All of the people I brought in over the year are gone and it seems like I will be next and that takes my son @bxlphabet out of the game too.

I'm still glad I tried and grateful to you for everything you have done for my over this year. Wish me luck and send prayers, as I need a real Hail Mary pass here.

@fitinfun thank you Sharon I am thinking of you today and appreciate you sharing the last minute bot sniping here because I was hesitant to set a cap on the negative ROI. After reading what you wrote I am happy the negative ROI is maxed out now at 10% which prevents any bot sniping on mine where the bids are already full. I am fine with it if the bot is still open for bids because I lose out on the curation rewards and the author gets a more profitable bid.

There are only just a very few people in there doing this 0-20 minuting bidding trick. But I think your limit on crashing is a good step anyway. Tank care, my friend.
