100% agree. When people see a huge increase in value, the easy conclusion to jump to is that it's a ponzi. It's the popular thing to say these days at the water cooler.

I'm an admittedly pessimistic investor and I did think Steem could be a ponzi when I first heard about it. Once I did some research on the platform, math behind the currency, and inflation rate, it was clear to me that it wasn't a ponzi...and I needed to join Steemit asap before the real growth kicks in!
