and what would it really matter to get your payout every 2.4 hours instead of once per day or week?
I do not really see that as an advantage to be honest

    Hi @felander, the rate was increased to 80% of round's prorated earnings, which is equivalent to over 38.5% APR return.

    And it does matter for many that the payout is every 2.4 hours as it allows people to get their posts upvoted right when they post it with some SBD instead of waiting until the daily or weekly payout.
