Russia began voting in the presidential election on Sunday (18/3/2018).
Votes across the country will run until the closing of polls at the westernmost point, in the Kaliningrad region, 22 hours later.

By many parties, this vote will again set victory for Vladimir Putin.
Opinion polls show Putin, incumbent, gaining support around 70 percent or nearly 10 times his nearest challenger support.
If that happens, then this victory will bring Putin as Russia's ruling leader for nearly a quarter of a century.

Or second leader after Soviet dictator Josef Stalin.
Most voters see no alternative beyond Putin.
"He (Putin) is our President We are proud of him," said Marianna Shanina, a resident of the Crimea region, when interviewed by a television station in Russia.
"We hope for victory in the election Our whole family will vote for Putin Putin! Good health for you, beloved President!" Said Shanina.
