RE: STEEMIT RANKS EXPLAINED|What Does it take to Move from One Rank to the Next?|Newbies&Minnows Guide

in #steem7 years ago

yes it is interesting, our group has a bot so there is incentive. LOL the more they do the higher they go and get rewarded. capitalism at its finest.
"pressure too much" giggle
i still haven't figured out the formula but at least you got that far!!! congrats on that much!
i got wiped out when something changed and i went from like 20-30 to around 80ish. shrugs.
i comment like a banshee and i'm all over this platform so its stats like that that kind of get me a little
bummed. oh welllll
life goes on right?
i'm glad you are giving yourself a little rest. :)

Sort:

Nothing like the promise of riches to get most people in high gear lol

You should ask Asher to explain the stats a bit so you can figure it out; or he always says if things seem "off" to let him know...maybe you fall in that category.

Disclaimer : I'm not saying you're a bit off , but maybe his stats are :)

A rest is always a good thing! I'm not sure if you're aware, but my husband has cancer, and we're at the stage where we moved to Mexico to "live out whatever time we have left together" stage. So some days when he's especially not well, this steemit stuff gets put on the back burner for sure. Most days, we can still get out and enjoy a couple of cervezas, so it's not all bad :)

hahaha i wouldn't say "riches" exactly but there is more money for upvotes, etc.
i have asked asher to explain, that is why i have the direct "" around things i wrote earlier. LOL
he does answer me but typically the answer is well maybe it is this or that or the other ...
nothing ever changes except i keep getting lower on the list and i comment over 350 a week,
which is more than most of the top people. the only thing i have notices is the CL and self upvotes.
most times i am writing for my blogs and not spending time like this to write paragraphs long or 1k words in a comment. hee hee
no worries, it is my feeling that the stats are off LOL
i thought i had read about someone having cancer, it is like so many people are survivors now. remember when there were days when if you had it, that was it? science can be amazing. i hope you to are as well as can be expected. i actually give three mnths of complimentary energy work through an organization in colorado for cancer participants.
the days that participants are not well is when we come in and help them get through those tough days.
big hugs to you and yay CERVEZAAAA!! nothing wrong with still enjoying this Life.

haha I must need some sleep that I missed the " " in your last comment lol

Yeah I know the self upvotes especially work against you, but no worries is right. It is what it is ;)

That's cool that you give complimentary energy work for cancer patients. I'm a firm believer in both traditional medicine and more holistic 'non-traditional' type work. You're right, the "bad old days" when your diagnosis meant that was it for you!

Thank you for the hugs and we'll cheers you with our next cervezaaaa :) Life is truly meant to be enjoyed, and Brian does that very well, so if worse comes to worse, we will have no regrets whatsoever! <3

holy cow, how did you get 74 cents!? LOLzzz
guess that's whatcha get for missing the "" and yeah self votes are it is what it is! Hee hee
yes i do give the complimentary and there are studies about how much they work. shrugs. i just go
volunteer and give what i can.
yay cheers!! woot ... more hugs to you both.
love
eagle

hahaha I have absolutely NO idea where that .74 cents came from. Seriously! It says gentlebot, but I don't know what that means!

You're awesome...hugs to us both <3

oh! thats the surprise sweet bot!! it supposedly comes around anonymously and upvotes comments! boom
hugs to all of us ... cerveza timeee! xoxo

The best thing is, I can actually buy a cerveza for .74 cents here haha Boom!

I love the surprise sweet bot :) Hugs!! Thanks for the information.

@elsikekjay did you see what just went down here! This was like art that went down right here! Now thats amazing commenting! I just never thought i would ever nerd out on writting being a gardener type. Im what you would call a "old" millenial... First generation millienial born in 1985. I would rather be bare footed in a garden or forest, anywhere but Las Vegas! However this week is an exceptional week with @steemcreators conference! Its sure to be fun! Anyhoo, @eaglespirit and @lynncole1 thank you for showing @elsiekjay and I how great commenting is done! Yes I know need to get grammerly going already! 😝

hahaah you are so funny!! first generation Millen got me LOL so hard!!
gardener type is great and yeah these days if you can't do it ALL then you get left behind.
you are too kind with your compliments and we must stay connected.

hugs,
eagle

Hopefully we do stay connected! I should have expected running into elite commenters doing what im doing or trying to do what im doing, with people like @elsiekjay leading by example! Now its time for me to start better managing my time! I may have learned more for the group I created than the people in it know! I learned that I want to be a writter now! Well not to be a writter but to be a better Steemian! As I get older and my schooling gets farther behind me I worry about my brain as a muscle too! I must use it or lose it! I see these people with my group growing so fast by having more confidence from interacting with people like you, making daily posts and learning basic writting rules. I want to step away from the group already and go full boar into writting articles and commenting all over Steemit! Im the kind of person that has to figure things out throughly when i really want to suceed at something. I see how vital commenting is and building relationships on Steemit are more so than ever watching people take advice I wish was given to me when i first started 5 months ago! Now if i can find a way to better manage my time to write about my crazy childhood(always wanted to write a book but maybe Steemit is the better option anyways), make comments, manage the server and most importantly home school my boys then ill be good!😂😂😂... Seriously though Im extremely motivated to do more with my writting because I stummbled upon people like you, @ntowl and @elsiekjay and many others who have shown me or rather welcomed the @dynamicsteemians to the "real world" of Steemit full of rules and unsaid rules and most importantly love and compassion!

holy cow! dont feel forced to type so much ahahahh
also why are you tagging everybody? hahahah
you crack me up. :)
i understand about writing and commenting and its all a balance.
about the the book there is an app called dbook and you can write chapter by chapter. just insert dbook in steemit search.
i dunno i started 4 months ago and did it all on my own with not a lot of help and am now helping create many groups to help others. all else fails people can search for amswers by just plugging in a topic. so many posts on helping noobs, how we all figured it out and now all these groups. the platform is def growing. it would be great to get rid of the dead accounts and create more space for growth. nice chatting and im always on discord so feel free to catch me there! steem on

haha you are welcome!! Art!! That's me and @eaglespirit alright ;)

And by the way @dynamickgreentk, I've been to Vegas enough times...no one will notice if you decide to go barefoot there :)

I have had a friend walk bare footed from unlv to the vons across the street and get arrested...however he was most likely profiled for looking middle eastern back in 2007. But no no no im not walking bare footed in vegas! Its not like san francisco where i might get aids or hep c from walking around barefooted but will catch something thats for sure and im not talking about a winning streak or jackpot either!😝

hahaha you are probably correct! You'll pick something up for sure :)
