The peg works to hold the price up, but if my understanding is correct there is not a mechanism to lower the price of SBDs after they pump.
Hmm I thought they changed something as witnesses when it went up to 1.27 a long time ago, back when it bounced between 80 cents and 1.10 often, but what your saying makes more sense. I need to learn more about this pegging concept I guess, it intrigues me and I know sovereign hero was supposed to be a pegged asset, bitgold and bitsilver etc. I wonder how it keeps it at the market price, or how it's supposed to
