The Philippines! you forgot! LOL...

It's not surpassing Ethereum in the Philippines.

I love to help you in your analysis! (^_^)
keep it up! I will follow you to see the progress...

you can also see Aceh as one of the largest steemit platform users. and we continue to learn about this here. because steemit is very feasible to be developed

Yes, I suspect if Google Trends allowed me to check Aceh on it's own, Steemit would blow Ethereum away in that region.

I will share your post, and I will also take your post as a source of my post later. hope you do not mind.

yes true, but unfortunately many users still do not understand in manage it. I am also building a community so that they are all focused. I collect delegates by the way I rent, but now the delegation is getting scarce. this makes us slow.

surprising, really. I live in Jakarta anyway.

That's true, I'm also from Aceh, many my friend here use steemit for sharing their work.

We will continue to provide direction for Steemit users in Aceh for better and more advanced ... Thanks to all friend...
and for @demotruk

I’ve long wondered why Aceh seems to be so over-represented here compared to people from other parts of Indonesia. Java is more heavily populated, why then western Sumatra?

Back at the end of 2016 and the beginning of 2017, Steemit was catching on like wildfire among some poor Acehnese farmers and laborers. They were posting photos of local wildlife as well as recipes, and making a small but very meaningful income from it.

Whales such as @blocktrades appeared to notice the trend and cultivate the Aceh tag by supporting it with upvotes. While Steem was essentially stagnant elsewhere, Aceh was a seed of growth and is still one of the most active regions for Steem today.

yes true ,, @blocktrades look at it. but unfortunately many Aceh users can not use it well. we will all fix it as best we can. very unfortunately if the Acehnese users do not get paid content that is so valuable. thanks for sharing @demotruk. i like you

thank you for our map Aceh sir. we are directing many comrades in Aceh. hopefully steemit continues to spread like facebook

The largest Steemit user in Indonesia is Aceh. We've worked hard and helped people join Steemit and then we teach them not to plagiarism and duplicate accounts. Thanks @demotruk, you are very concerned about Steemit users

Thanks for sharing @demotruk, it's interesting to see how Steemit is outgrowing Ethereum in certain places.

I think that this would be really cool as a heatmap graphic in the Steemit colours to share as a monthly update or something; I have a graphic designer on board my project so he could do it in a few minutes, let me know if you ever want it done!

What would be really cool if we had some equivalent to flippening.watch.

We already trounce Bitcoin and solidly beat Ethereum on transactions per 24 hours, but many metrics are well behind. I do believe we wil have our own flippening though, and we will see Steem beat Ethereum (and Bitcoin) on all metrics.

Yeah that would be! I think Steem has an excellent future, but have not analysed it enough to decide on where it will be place in terms of marker cap; it would not surprise me though!

quite interesting, the steem can reach the top position in the next step. I have seen a system very is being good from now

Agreed, best thing we have now is this:
https://blocktivity.info/

The force is strong with Steemit...

Amazing data!

This is the real comment. I thought it the bot comment lol :D

This is very interesting! What's the source?

The source is Google Trends.

In Venezuela there is a lot of people as Steemit's users getting steems as rewards because of their post published and daily activity on this social network. The actual situation of Venezuela for instance is demanding venezuelans to look for another untraditional working way and using Steemit is a good one. If bitcoin doesn't reach around 20.000$ per bitcoin as it did until last year do you think Steem cryptocurrency is going to beat strongly Ethereum? Bitcoin is considered as the father of all cryptocurrencies, isn't ir? Thanks a lot for your response. Best regards.

It's my view that Ethereum will dethrone Bitcoin in market cap soon. I expect Steem to dethrone Ethereum some months or years later.

Yo también espero que eso ocurra

sorry venezuela. It reminds me of Russia's 1990s, when people lost money because of inflation, unemployment, and pyramids

In Russia English-speaking Steem is more popular than Russian-speaking Golos!

https://trends.google.ru/trends/explore?geo=RU&q=steem,steemit,golos.io,gbg

Ha! Although your measurement favours Steemit, because Golos is a common Russian word and you're forced to use narrower term for Golos.

Thank you budgets for making a transfer to me for an upvote of 13.38% on this post!

Half of your bid goes to @budgets which funds growth projects for Steem like our top 25 posts on Steem!

The other half helps holders of Steem power earn about 60% APR on a delegation to me!

For help, will you please visit https://jerrybanfield.com/contact/ because I check my discord server daily?

To learn more about Steem, will you please use http://steem.guide/ because this URL forwards to my most recently updated complete Steem tutorial?

Nice stats!

Go Nigeria!!! All thanks to the effort of peeps like @ejemai and @samstickkz of the @stach community.

And others such as @oluwoleolaide and @fisteganos. You know, I was talking about Nigeria on Steem back when there were almost no Nigerians on Steem ;-)

Actually, @drwalecrypt0 made this comment on my post:

I am just grateful for all this interest in bitcoin. More and more Nigerians are asking about other uses of crypto-currency. Be prepared...we are coming for Steem, the trading exchanges like poloniex, etc.
That's when the world will feel the might of 200 million HONEST, creative minds......and a few 419ers.

https://steemit.com/mmm/@demotruk/this-is-what-a-real-ponzi-scheme-looks-like

He was right, but his own account is dormant for over a year now!

because the first person who introduced steemit in indonesia is aceh people, and the indonesian curator of aceh people but we as people of aceh very less attention from curator indonesia.

Nice stats shared. Will follow your upcoming posts also. This post also give some ideas to get into the crypto market.

@demotruk my name is Osondu Bernard @bendollars am from Nigeria you are right with your statistics on the growing rate of steemians , when you talk about Nigeria steemit community where i belong, we are growing on the fastest increase like yesterday we had Enugu Ignites meetup/ seminar were we had to train over 100 person on the platform you can check out my dtube videos that i have uploaded and also some of the picture i will soon upload for you to see, am already following you to be able to read and see more of your post. I would like also to mentored.

I expect Nigeria to be number 1 in no time.
The citizens epitomize what it means to "move with the crowd" both those that are aware of the impending paths and those that are just blind.

That's a result of not being spoiled of choices to earn. Hence any outlet that gives off a sniff of value and profit is normally chased pants down.

In Nigeria it's almost at 90% growth i mean steemit, it's a growing economy and Nigeria also boosts the highest number of steemians from Africa

I'm from Nigeria

I was honestly surprised that interest in Ethereum is still higher than Steemit in Nigeria. Only just about, but still, Steemit is having much more practical impact in Nigeria than Ethereum is surely. What use is there in Ethereum in Nigeria right now anyway? I guess it might be listed on a Nigerian Bitcoin exchange?

There's certainly no use of it in Nigeria, instead people still trade Bitcoin, infact I've hardly seen anyone doing ethereum in my community

Steem It is best....

Man where did you got this information. Which website? I want to check about my country.

https://trends.google.com

There is a link for each chart in my post.

I'm from Venezuela and that's really true.

Interesting. One question I have is: Are people increasingly using "ether" as a search term rather than ethereum?

Screenshot_20180211-081523.jpg

It does not appear to be the case.

Could you pull the stats for South Africa?

Amazing stats!!!
In Israel we already have around 500 daily active user and i see facebook group growing daily basis

What is being compared here? “Steemit” the platform? And to what “Ethereum” specifically?

This is Google search trends. It's a measure of how often people search for these terms (relative to population size). It's a good proxy measure of public interest in a topic.

Thank you now it makes more sense!

Go Venezuela! The growth of the Venezuelan users in Steemit is quite large, if you see in the Spanish-speaking community every day there are dozens (hundreds?)of Venezuelans joining the platform, and I am not exaggerating, they are too many, this is due to the depressing crisis that the country is going through , people are earning a salary of $3.7 per month, here in Steemit in a single post or comment you earn that in less than 5 minutes.

If you see the graphs of all the other cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin and Steem, you will see a substantial growth in the interest of Venezuelans, this is one of the things that people in Europe and the United States do not take into account when doing analysis of the blockchain revolution, and affirming that it is a bubble, many people from third world countries (who represent the majority of the world's population) see in cryptocurrency their salvation, either because of the income, or because of the freedom that It offers its own monetary systems.

I'm from Nigeria. I joined steemit two months ago and before joining, I knew nothing about crypto. As I speak, steemit had gained grounds more than most crypto in recent months. Etherum is learning work.

Indonesia is also a big platform now, and this is also a part of steemit for this friend. This longing is always awake because we will always keep together in steemit. I happy with you demotruk.thanks you so much

Wow, cant believe how steemit has grown in Nigeria. Thanks for the awareness and statistics

This is very interesting, all the countries above have some kind of problem and are living in bad conditions, some of them more than others, and its good to see that people are trying to get into steemit as an escape to make money and improve their actual situacion.

I hope steemit is helping who needs and motivate this people to fight back and survive/live another day!

Nigerian population on Steemit platform is growing so fast and I know before this year ends, we will be massive.

Thank you for informing. I m from Indonesia. I m interesting with steemet. Please teach me.

Thanks for sharing

Post his brothers beautiful times, even many people who vote, I want to learn abg the same way he said the word

I did not expect myanmar.

@demotruk It is inevitable that Nigeria will be on the list of top tags in no time just like "kr", "cn" and "aceh". We have the numbers (200 million - actually more like 20.5 million smart phone users (statista.com)) so the growth potential is endless. Hopefully, the world can start to see us in a different light as opposed to all the bad press we constantly receive. :)

Best post upvoted for you. if have some seconds please review my post

Wow! This is cool I want Nigeria to be number one very soon.

because the first person who introduced steemit in indonesia is aceh people, and the indonesian curator of aceh people but we as people of aceh very less attention from curator indonesia.

Stemmit is bigger in Nigeria than you guys think .

I would like to know which country has more people on steemit. I think Venezuela should be on the top 5.
Steemit has been a very helpful platform for Venezuelans

Thanks for this insightful post. More of this kind of posts are needed on Steemit. We need to boost the confidence of Steemians and make them know that it is worthwhile to invest in Steem.

Steem is the next big thing on the blockchain.

Hi, great post, where did you get those stats from? i am from venezuela and i'm interested.

Each of the links in my post go to Google Trends.

wow man thanks a lot, i just when to google trends and learned a shitload stuff. thankssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

I like your post, if there is time to visit my account, because I am still a beginner.
