I believe your posts are probably the most encouraging on all steemit. After reading them I always feel a little bit more excited about our future as a community.
In my case, I am from Venezuela and steemit is a golden opportunity because right now my country is totally collapsed and earning a good living is quite difficult here because among other reasons, we have a currency exchange control so the inflation is destroying people purchasing power and it’s ilegal to exchange the local currency for others more stable.
So steemit is changing my life and I am trying to promote it to other Venezuelans so they can too avoid more suffering and survive this economic collapse.
Everyday I seem to learn something new about steemit and the different communities, it truly is an enrichment experience.

That is a great story @dedicatedguy. It sucks what happened in your country but the fact there is an alternative is very encouraging. I hope all in your country listen to you.

One of the co-founders is married to a woman from your country so the situation there hits home with them.
