And as far as I know, the reward pool in steemit cannot be changed, so it has a finite size? So eventually, in order for this idea to become the basic income of the future, there will need to be a lot more projects similar to steemit, and apart from vice and sola (which I am not sure are sucessful) I don’t see anything similar.

Now, I believe the idea of rewarding users for their creations and their interaction with each other is genius, and eventually this idea should be the new norm. But in order for that to happen, steemit will need to have much more competition (other projects also rewarding content creation) than the little it have right now
