one question, how to upvote most beneficially(to myself ?)

in #steem8 years ago (edited)

Lovely wondergirl,my favorite

I bought a lot steem power,so I have to ask,I think I did see a post about the new upvote policy somewhere?
Can anybody give me some links or points,I'll upvote you😋 😋 😋
By the way, emojies used here are so ugly, are there any pretty ones can be used?

There's no official upvote policy, just rumors that it will be restricted in the next hard fork. Of course you shouldn't upvote spammy posts, other than that you're free to decide what you want to upvote and what not.

There are no emoji here at all, it depends on the browser how they will be shown. On iPhone they get to show pretty nice, but on Chrome are pretty ugly 🤐

You can actually maximise your curation rewards by voting on others, not just yourself although since you've invested a LOT you are free to do whatever you want with it. Curating other's post will help distribute Steem better, in turn improving the platform for us all.

But more importantly, with your SP level you could easily make 300-500 SP/week with some excellent curation around Steemit. When i was curating actively before my accident, I was managing 130-140 SP/weekly from curation with about 11K-12K Steem Power. :) So there's a lot of upside to curating excellent content and new authors on Steemit.

Dear sweetheart @davidding, Its upto you to whom should be upvoted. However, no such official policy of upvoting has been introduced yet:-)

However, I am glad to follow you:-)

This comment has received a 0.05 % upvote from @booster thanks to: @qasimwaqar.

You can upvote all you want, be sure to give back to a few minnows 😂😂😂

Well this is your steem power and you can do whatever you want with it! :D I don't see nothing wrong with upvoting my own posts, I don't know why that's so big deal for many people.

i like your honesty lovely post davidding :)
There are some shitty emoji here need to be update so many things here :)

i can't see your video , maybe my wifi is so slowly . thanks your post !

Thumbs up and hugely supporting your work 😊

Hi @davidding
After hardfork 19, voting structure changed. Most can vote up to 10 times per day at 100%. Once you reach 5000 steem power, you will get a slider and thats when you can decide what percentage to vote.
Hope this helps.

Well, we have all the right what we want to upvote.
You have the freedom to choose! ^_^

Wait there are emojis here? I only use ascii emoticons eversince.

Keep on Steemin'!

To get the most curation rewards, vote before 30minutes of the post. If the post gets a lot of votes, you will share a bigger percentage of the curation rewards.

@susieisms your analogy is wrong. It's the other way around actually! Voting at 30 minutes or later is better for the curator and voting under 30 minutes is better for the author. :)

Oh! Thanks for correcting my error.
Good to know. . . :)

Oh wow! I just now realized that you posted the
"Nobody" by Wonder Girls.
I thought it was just a picture. :D

It brings back the memories. Go check their songs "So Hot" & "Tell Me". They are so cute!!! (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

And because of the Korean Pop songs, you gained a new follower. And an upvote too. ^_^

Upvoting yourself may be beneficial for a short period of time, but in the long term it will be negative for the system. If good content creators don't migrate to steemit, the platform won't continue to grow and as a result, the price of steem will crash. This is why there are so many requests to disable self-upvotes but it won't stop people from creating more than one account and self-upvoting themselves.

Hello @davidding, to upvote yourself create another account. Use it to make your posts, and then vote those posts from this account. OR if you want to make posts with this account, you could create another account and delegate your SP to the other account and then use it to vote on your davidding account.

Probably the best thing to do if you want to be a hero around here, is set up another account, delegate your SP to it, and use it to upvote people like @randowhale or @booster does. In this manner, people pay you for the upvotes (so you make money there) and then you upvote them and they make $$ (and you still make some more on the curation) win win for everyone.

Randowhale charges 2 SBD. Once you do 100,000 votes you have all the money you invested in SP back. With randowhale, there is no guarantee youll get back more than you paid. Complete gamble. Ive never won. If you can offer a guarantee, you can shut out the competition and create a win win where everyone makes money with your vote. That would be something really useful for the community.

Emojis, yes they are a little tricky. You can make your own and include them as images as I do here. If you need help with that, let me know. Steemit.

You can upvote how you like. However others can downvote as they like as well. So if you vote in a way which others find objectionable enough to counter, you may find that the votes were not effective.

Um. that video is amazing. It made me think of this scene from Mulholland Drive.

People are gonna hate you if you keep upvoting your comments for so much money, it's really bad for the community that the money doesn't circulate between people. I promise, with that much money invested, you will make lots of money here, no need to hoard your voting power for yourself.
