I think that STEEM gives to people something more than the other cryptocurrencies have to offer and that is to work for it, not just invest. To build something in an active way is the greatest incentive of the platform, you feel like you are doing something that counts and that adds value to the STEEMIT community, but also in general for those we are not users of the platform, but who might find answers within.
And while currently the content is static, imagine what would happen if it would dynamic, if services can be offered on top of them, not just to share but also be hired for some specific jobs or something alike. Probably all will come in good time, but it is clear that STEEMIT will be something GREAT, maybe greater than what we have seen so far...
