If i am not wrong, in the past 24 hours, @Steem is up more or less by 63% and trading at $4.28. It’s trading almost 72% higher than it was 7 days ago. Looking back a full month, this cryptocurrency’s price has gained a solid 3x. Out of the top-30 most valuable digital currencies in the world, Steem is having the best day. Everyone knows that Crypto-coins are very hard to predict. Once again Steem has gain its power & momentum, hopefully momentum lasted for ever.

I just wrote a piece on this too ! I wanted to add that it bounced off the 200-day SMA! This is great news and the volume is very heavy !! I think the worst is behind us and we will be seeing large percentage moves in the near weeks.

I love the volume on this breakout with All MA’s turning to the upside. The exciting part about it is that Steem is the only one in green. I think institutional investors just noticed Steem. I can’t wait when you finaly announce 1 mil users. Once we break this milestone, it should add in much faster rate. One thing is for sure, steemit users are not declining. Other than that, it’s really fun to watch the chart and it’s even bigger fun to participate in it.
Volume is indicating solid strength, and perhaps some big buyers. The 1hr candle at 5:00 on the 25th on Bittrex pushing price from a little over $ up to just under $4 had well over $2,500,000.00 worth of volume!
The fomo should pour in within the next breakout . The height could be 2x or more . Smart people should wait for the cooling day (at least if u cant wait for the dips). Steem all the way is driving the show. I think its very much for the smt and upcoming consensus 2018 (dont forget steemit ceo is a speaker there). Lets watch the epic show. Next 2 months should be fun

I wonder why Huobi listing steem and is against the other cryptos and many more big names will get notice to the steem platform because of its lots of potential. Now I see how high it got, I can't even believe! With the listing at Huobi today, Steem got really breat pumps with a huge volume, and if this keeps on going this way, it is possible that it will leave SBD behind. Also, this huge pump when all the market is falling is such a great thing for marketing because a lot of investors who will look in the top 100 coins to invest in will definetely remark Steem being green through all of the red that know is on the market.
I am just afraid of a correction, but as usual, there is almost no pump without a correction :)
Oh yeah, what now shows the STEEM deserves special attention and you are right, the leadership of the STEEM is unconditional, especially in the latest recessions of the majority of crypto currency! This rise of STEEM is impressive, I think it is due to a mixture of 2 factors, first that STEEM was listed in Huobi and second the correction of btc, when bitcoin corrects people tend to take refuge in the few cryptocurrencies that are rising, the last time was DGD, this time it's STEEM.
I hope that this growth is not just a pump and dump and that this explosion brings new active users on the platform. A good year is coming for STEEM. SMT and hiveminds will make its value increase much more.

Isn’t it amazing. I just checked a few minutes ago Steem price and it skyrocketed to $4.42. There was this news in the morning that Steem will be added to 4th largest crypto exchange and with beautiful bullish technicals it only added steam to it. I personally would love to see Steem on Coinbase. Remember, with high Steem price it will be harder to accumulate Steem when it comes to rewards and overall affordability. Believe it or not, it could push the Steem price even higher, much higher. Before that, I would love to see few small bars to the downside to build nice price fundation. Great to be part of it!

Leader is a great term to apply to STEEM. As the industry shifts and other blockchains are trying to figure out how to scale up, STEEM already have that covered. The @dan blockchains already can handle 80 times the volume they presently have.
I have no idea where STEEM ranks in terms of the number of developers or what is taking place, but I can say there is a ton going on from that perspective. The fact that people are building businesses on this blockchain is what will really determine the winner in the end.
Maybe the rest of the world is starting to find out about STEEM.
Of course, having it listed on the 4th largest Chinese exchange isnt a bad thing....that should help bring in some new buyers.
Now if they could only get the sign up process automated...that would be golden.

I don’t think anyone can guarantee what the price of Steem is going to be in the future, but I think one thing that differentiates Steem from other cryptocurrency is that it is among the first to really build a whole digital ecosystem based on the Steem blockchain that is essentially monetizing all forms of social media interactions from blogging to posting photos.
Whether Steem maintains the advantage it has over other cryptocurrencies remains to be seen, but it definitely has branched out over various forms of social media to ensure that there is a large and distributed user base that is important for future growth.
Compared to other cryptocurrencies that are basically commodities that can be traded, Steem is creating a future digital economy that can provide products and services to a global audience without leaving its own ecosystem, and the continual increase in user numbers and popularity on Alexa is an indication of further growth in the immediate future at least.
WOWWWW! It's 4.2! Yesterday or the other day, when I saw that it dipped, I put everything I had at 3.2. I knew it may go lower, but it seemed like such an odd dump that I said "nah, it's gonna come back up in power". But I didn't expect that it would reach 4.2 in such a short time!.
I expect that it will reach a higher point right now, maybe 4.5, and then go down, meet a higher resistance, then go back up. But it's nice, not only for investment in Steem but for those who have nice upvotes, since the reward pool gives more SBD when SBD and Steem increase against USD. Since the price feed is at $3 right now, the rewards in 3 days will be awesomely high. :))) <3

yeah steem is leading the way, i became so happy that steem has hit 4$ value, that's great for the steemians, it's believed that steem will cross $30 value by the end of this year and in next month SMT tokens are coming into being that will also double the price of steem as of today...we should never lose hope in steem there was a time when steem got lower to $1.4, see its raising now and eventually will touch stars soon...

I don't know maybe @Steem's today's excellent performance is the chain reaction because of "Huobi listed @STEEM to their list". I really hope that's not the reason because we all remembered the craziness when Binance listed STEEM. Houbi is not the biggest exchange but not a tiny one either. Despite every exchange which lists STEEM we Steem lover count that as a win.
This is a result of the positive market we have had in the past few days and the listing in Huobi! The Chinese market will be huge for Steem!
I'm curious what will happen when hiveminds release, i was expecting Steem to remain dormant until the release happened but we have already gone up 100% in the last month alone, makes you wonder what the true potencial of Steem is when hiveminds and SMTs release, we can probably get into the top 10 cryptos without issues.

I made a movement from 15 to 55$.

Fundamentals are also being propped up as SMT APPICS about to launch which should create demand. Also, a new/large exchange Huobi will list STEEM today which will open new gateways to access demand from investors. Lastly, considering the amount of STEEM still powered up, supply may not be enough for this demand. It could make a run to Top 20 soon.
Oh ye of little faith: that was what I told myself today. I needed to buy a new phone for my friend who was having issues getting on Steemit with her old, faulty phone. So, when the price became bearish to $2.9 I quickly sold some to cover the cost of the phone before further dipping only for the price to bull back up just minutes after I sold some. Well, I'm still grateful I manage to get the phone but I told myself that I am among those of little faith who was shook at the dropping price.

In 2 minds about this...one that it's great my STEEM bags have gotten a lot lighter and good to see price reflect value.
Other side of me is thinking Huobi is a Chinese dominant site, and from what I'm aware of there isn't much of a Chinese community on Steem. Interesting to see what happens in the near future!
