RE: Shifting sands and investment decisions

in #steem5 years ago

Dear @abh12345

Powering down for many of is not something we enjoy and I can only imagine how difficult this decision have been for @steemcommunity owner. Is @paulag managing this account?

I am not sure if the tribes will manage to bridge the gap and start bringing in the above from outside Steem - actifit, spliterlands, and as outside bets, dporn and creativecoin could be in with a chance. Or will we have to wait for SMT / Communities / a bull market, for anything serious to happen?

I think we may need to wait for SMT.

From a point of view of new user, who doesn't understand blockchain and do not know what STEEM is about - it is just to difficult to join any project build on steem-engine.

We both manage the account and share ownership.

I have my doubts about SMTs simplifying anything. New sites will pop up like the Scot tribe sites and they will have their own nuances like we have at present.

The simplification, as I see it, will come for the end user as they are on-boarded by a tribe or SMT community and stay within those realms - because they don't care for card games or porn and just like photography.

As I've mentioned in other comments, we are at the forefront with many options to consider - some of these tribes could be huge and I'm taking small bets on many as opposed to going large on just one.

Cheers

Dear @abh12345

I have my doubts about SMTs simplifying anything.

So do I. I'm mostly wondering how SMT could possibly affect price of STEEM. People seem to believe that SMT will be a great thing for STEEM blockchain. However I just don't see how SMTs can increase STEEM buying pressure.

I've think never actually thanked you for your previous comment. So let me do that now: BIG THX buddy :)

Perhaps you could also visit my latest post and share your own view on discussed topic. I would love to hear your opinion.
