I couldn't sleep yesterday thinking till the morning : ''How steem-engine is helping steem ?''
Of course it's great that so many tokens was created and now we can empower each idea by them.
But what if someone is able to buy those tokens with BTC or Ethereum or even EOS ?
I don't know if it's possible to buy those tokens with other currencies except steem, but I don't see it growing in the price, but vice versa.
When I asked in a post why steem price is going down, the best answer was ''Because a lot of powerful steemians are powering down''.
But those people were powering down all the time and the price was stable from $0.3 to $0.4.
The problem now is not in the price even, but in the ranking in coinmarketcap, from about 50 it went to 80 !
Will steem desapear from the top 100 cryptocurrencies soon ? ! I hope it will not !
It hurts really, when I joined steem more than 2 years ago, the price was about $1. I witnessed it going till $7 or more and now I see it going less than $0.3.
I really hope that the main currency in steem-engine at least is steem, please prove me that !
When I aks about such things, I don't want to create any drama, but as an investor in steem, I want to understand things ! Stop attacking people just because they share their point of view !
I don't have money to invest anymore, because I invested already $1000 when the price was about $3 and for me as a foreigner living in Russia is a lot of money, so I converted all bitcoin I had in my wallet that I gathered in a few years all in steem ! I started gathering all that bitcoin from 2013 when the price was about $300, so that's 4 years before joining steem, so that's a big deal for me !
I believed in steem, more than I believe in bitcoin !
So, please don't ask me why I'm wandering, but reply me and explain me things I may don't understand.
I really like the idea of #newsteem and that we can consider ourselves that we just joined steem and we can start build communities with tokens and do the maximum to make our tokens grow.
But what if steem will go lower and lower ? What will happen then ?
Should every steemian create a token ? How many tokens we will have so ? Or, the most important question is how many valuable tokens we will have ?
Being on steem for more than 2 years, I deserve to know all the answers to my questions !
I still promote steem in twitter, in facebook, in youtube, in forums and other social media like reddit, medium and I try also to invite people to steem from other cryptocurrency communities.
I need to be ready to answer any type of questions.
Sometimes I don't write about what I think about, but about what people ask me when I invite them to steem.
I usually invite those who are already experienced in investing in crypto, because I would like to see big investors here.
Such people usually ask very interesting questions and that's why I wander a lot !
You may think that I'm just a regular dtuber who make videos to get an upvote from @dtube because I don'ttalk about all the work I do behind the scene, but I do a lot.
I have a group in facebook with more than 17,000 members and a lot of people joined steem from that group !
A lot of steemians contact me in discord asking me questions about steem.
But this is not the most important, I just want to tell you that i really care about steem !
So, can you just answer me, how steem-engine is helping steem ?
When we will create more tokens there, will we see the price grow ? Will that affect the ranking in coinmarketcap ?
I get also an other interesting comment ''That the apps and tokens are splitting the community in steem''.
I love all dapps in steem and I promote them and I like to use them all because they are really valuable, but I never thought that they are splitting communities, I thought they all serve to promote steem and the same about tokens !
Maybe we should just keep creating and don't care about the price and look at this as a very long term investment !
But while doing so, we need to live, not all of us are big investors and not all of us have the patience, the time and the money to wait for such long time !
I really wish all the best for this community.
My feeling is that a big factor, in the decline in STEEM over the last while, has been because of BTC-STEEM pairing on most exchanges. It would be interesting to see if BTC paired coins have fallen at a greater percentage than non-BTC paired coins over the year thus far.
Of course. I also think that the success of bitcoin is thanks to being the main currency in most exchanges. So, anyone who is buying any coins he/she should buy bitcoin and that what make it the most expencive one and it will make it grow for sure.
If just more exchangers will set steem as the main currency, it will help steem price grow for sure, for now we have only steem-engine and freedomex. I wish to see more of them in the future, maybe it will help us all !
yes you are right but other exchanges not doing this
Thanks, it's a pleasure !
