RE: HF 20 - lessons finally learned?

Postpone is not always the solution, you need to adapt rapidly to have an edge to position yourself in the market. We needed to have those new features to embrace more users in the platform.

Sort:

I don't agree with the onboarding argument. Steemit Inc has enough stake to onboard millions of users with the old delegation system. No need to rush anything.
The new system only allows free accounts for them and a few other big players. Small stakeholders will not be able to create near-free accounts for their friends any more, they'll need to pay significantly more now.

Hundreds of millions in fact, given the previous cost of 0.1 SP per account.

This might be a worthwhile argument if any of them, you know, worked.
