I will be working on this tweak this weekend. Added this to my todo list. I am just thinking of how to reduce the overload of this check on every post. May be I will try to make use of your blacklists somehow.

Just do a pre-check to see if the author has already posted using the introductyourself tag. Anything else will never be current.
