@smooth @burnpost just thinking aloud: your posts fall under category of tribes like steemleo neoxian marlians palnet.
Adding #steemleo and sending Leo tokens to @null as well can attract more voters, attract tribe's curators (especially when a post is added via peculiar interface)
That is intriguing but I don't really feel qualified to pursue it at this point because I'm not familiar with either the tribes ecosystem as a whole nor any particular tribes. I'm happy to add tags if it somehow means extra rewards that can benefit Steem but at the same time I don't want to violate some community expectations or standards that I'm not aware of. So for now I'm going to stay clear of it but if someone wants to offer a clear explanation or pointer to resources I'm open to exploring it.
