My personal view is that STEEM is missing a layer somewhere. We have all these grass-roots community groups and projects...then we have this top layer of Steemit, Whales and Witnesses, but there isn't much in the middle. As we grow we are going to need to get a bit better organised if we are going to self-govern or the disconnect between the top and the bottom will just replicate our real world dysfunction.
