Yeah the gif is hilarious but all so true. Some people have been waiting around for a week or more. You have to equate it to crypto currency mining with computers. Imagine if the price spikes way up and everyone buys a bunch of GPUs to mine but for some reason they aren't allowed to connect to the Internet. The difficulty would still be low but the ones that were on the network would be kicking ass and chewing bubble gum. If you want to get her on ASAP there are a couple ways to do it.
