One of my goals since 2008 has been to be a full time content creator. I have had some success but that goal is becoming more of reality not from YouTube but from the STEEM blockchain. I get payouts every month from YouTube but not even from my crypto currency channel. It is really annoying because I have over 2200 subscribers there and a lot of engagement and it has been more than long enough for them to approve me for monitization on that channel but they haven't.

With STEEMit / DTube / DLive / DSound / Steepshot / Zappl anyone can get on and start producing content and has a chance to earn crypto and engage with the community. There is no central authority that dictates if you can be monetized or not. That is a hugely powerful thing!

I changed my content up a lot in the last couple of months and went to a screencast format which has worked really well on YouTube. I don't have a webcam on this computer so people think I'm a basement dwelling man baby who is scared to show his face. They weren't around for the pool meetings. Ultimately this format has gained a lot more traction than the pool meetings. It is actually a more effective format for learning because I can show so many things on my computer. Pool meetings kept me in shape though. LOL

I'm going to keep trying to produce content on all platforms but the clear place to focus on is the STEEM blockchain. Thank you to everyone!

Good job man, I've been following you on Steemit for quite some time, almost since I first joined I think. Love your crypto stuff, and I've been watching your videos lately too. Keep at it and eventually you will be full time, without stupid youtube's permission!!

I really appreciate it. The crypto videos take a while to put together and I have really been questioning if it is worth it because I don't know when I'm going to get monetized on YouTube and sometimes I feel like they don't do as well on here as I would think they would. But really when it comes down to it the situation with STEEM keeps getting better and better.

Yeah it’s a tough grind but honestly you are good at it. Keep it up with the videos and you will find your groove. Keep up the great work man, you will always have a supporter in me :)

You're are really doing a good work @brianphobos, you should not be discouraged, every good deed has a humble beginning, mostly starts out that way

You have already made a name for yourself here, i believe with time the monetary reward will come gradually

Well done brother. It is crucial to provide content and present it in an innovative and interesting way. I sometimes do feel disappointed when my posts don't get the views I think they deserve. But I have lately developed an enthusiasm for English that I never had before. I am channeling this energy into my own writing and blogs.

I used to study maths and engineering and English was my least favourite subject. Nowadays, with my increasing passion for steem and blogging, I am extremely eager to develop my writing skills and make sure my next blog is an improvement from its antecedents. I recommend you try and do the same on any platform.

I share similar aspirations as you. I'd love to quit my job and become my own content creator.

Let's go!!

It can certainly be hard to get noticed on here or any other platform. I have had my frustrations over the years of not being able to really "go for it" ...... etc.

Keep at it. Your English is really good. I know a limited amount of Spanish but that is it. It is pretty sad that I don't know any other languages.

You get bragging rights when you learn a new language. Living in China allowed me to learn Mandarin Chinese and the ironic thing about many foreigners living here is that they still can't speak decent Chinese after being here for years. I think it was my years living in China that actually allowed me to appreciate English even more. Even though English is my native tongue, I always hated reading books, English literature and writing essays. Being in a culture that generally does not understand English or speak it fluently/correctly made me fall in love with this beautiful language. I guess you appreciate it more when you aren't surrounded by it on a daily basis.

I feel blessed from that experience because now I feel a greater intensity to speak with higher standards and vocabulary. Now I can use it for blogging and finding out how I can tweak my writing to captivate people.

Wow!!! Great achievement that's why legends are told Never give up . Please give us tips to create value for market and how to become success . Thanks @brianphobos

Thanks for checking out the post!

I really appreciate all of the content you provide. I see youtube on the way down for content creators. Even if you do get approved to monetize your videos, the algorithm will demonetize you anyway. I think the days of making full-time income on youtube are gone at least from adsense anyways.

Very nic post

Congrats Man! You Rollin up to 50k soon enough :)

Good stuff, Brian. I am an internet marketer since 2008, full time since 2009. And I can tell you that Steemit is probably the only legit opportunity that people can work STRICTLY on content creation and content creation only and have the chance to make it eventually full time. I see where it is going to take a little time and work but it's worth the commitment. Let's take it to the top and keep up your great work, bro :) Following you !!!

Congratulations, sir.
