It’s hard not to want to vomit when looking at our wallets right now. Morale is in the toilet for many & people will leave the platform as many have before them because “I ain’t earnin nuffin”. I say good riddance. Let the Debbie Downers run with their tail tucked between their legs.
The warriors will remain. Those who have made a name for themselves the last time there were dark times, will still be chugging along & producing quality for the chain. This is old hat to those rockstars. They’ve seen this before and for the most part, are unfazed.
This is your opportunity to grow and take some initiative. Steem is .39 cents at the time of me writing this. IF ...and this is key here... IF you believe in this platform and yourself on it, why not put your money where your mou...uh...fingers are.
I found that by me throwing some real coin in, I took it a bit more seriously. On nights where I was a bit lazy & didn’t feel like writing, knowing I had skin in the game pushed me along & motivated me a bit more to pop that piece out. I know not everyone is in a position to invest. I get that...but plenty are. You are just afraid. Which you should be. Crypto as a whole is a tremendous risk...but I’m taking the plunge anyway as I am a believer. I’ve been buying in chunks since I joined but I’m super excited at the opportunity presenting itself to us right now.
So tonight I raided my couch cushions and car on the hunt for loose change. I was able to wrap up $85.50 & tomorrow morning, I’m going to deposit it and then buy some more Steem. If the price holds, that’s 219 Steem for money I didn’t even know I had. Not a tremendous amount but every bit helps. Trust me. I remember when I first got my upvote to be worth a penny and I was stoked!
So I call on you folks...go & raid your cushions and buy some Steem. Even if it’s $6 bucks worth. If you don’t know how, I’ll help ya do it. Just comment below if needed. Seize the Steemy moment!

Yeah it was mostly from my car but I had some in a jar as well as the ol cushions. Lol
I just powered up a few hundred more steem today. I am thinking about getting some more over the next few days as well. These prices are very attractive. All these people whining about prices and everything dont realize if they dont cash out, they havent lost anything. They are actually earning more now than they would if the price was hire. The best option is to keep earning now, not run away and cry while the price is low.
Bingo! I honestly hope it stays low for another few months to be honest. I’ve never powered down. Only up. I have no plans to for a long time so I’m great with it being low. Gives me more opportunity to strengthen my position. I just wish I had more fiat to pump in.

Exactly. To me it’s worth the risk. Ya know? My future self would kick my own ass if I didn’t try to put myself in a better position. Of course there’s a risk and it could all come tumbling down...but I see great things ahead.
Do you end up with that much change in your couch? Do you just come home and empty your wallet over it? Traditionally I use a jar in the closet because then the couch is far more comfortable without coins disturbing it's softness. But each to his own and I'm glad that it babysat so much money for you. That's a good idea though I forgot about my closet coins that weren't really doing much. Far better to invest them so when steam rises I can double my jar xx

My car. I throw change all around so there was a ton there. In nooks and crannies. I was just making a point for people to use loose change that they have somewhere to go and snag some while the prices are low. Lol. Would be funny to have all this under a couch cushion.
Haha... I throw change around to as it's always a suprise for myself. Like.. wow! There is 6 bucks under my car seat.. I can pay for coffee after all!! It's better when you find a 50 buck note in.a pair of jeans you haven't worn in months..

I’m still on there but I find myself using it at a fraction of what I used to which is super refreshing. But yeah...exactly. I’ve said that to the downers and they have no answer for me.
How the fuck do you find that much in loose change in your couches? Do you cosplay as a giant gumball machine with a slot just designed into your back pockets so the shit falls out when you sit down? The only other thing I can think of is that you must just get a fuck ton of change every year or two and bathe in it while sitting inside of your car and just forget to clean it up.

Awesome man! I haven't lost hope. My portfolio is looking pretty dismal but it is what it is. If anything this is an opportunity to build ourselves up when no one else is trying. I'm all in until I see a zero. Let's hope it never comes to that! Cheers!
Yup yup. I got into this world at the WORST possible time ever but in a sense I’m ok with it. Seeing the tail end of the crazy bull run made me see the potential and got me excited for becoming more involved and educating myself a bit more. I feel as though in time, some of these moves will be life changing.
Totally man. I'm in the same boat. Got in pretty late. Probably around the $2.00 mark. These things happen though and it hasn't discouraged me. As Blockchain technology grows and more people involve themselves, I think it's bound to make its way back up.
Exactly. Also Steem is one of the few that earns me more so I’m cool with it. Upside down now but that won’t be the case forever.

Lololol at my stupid bank. I long for the day when I don’t have to use them any longer. Paper statement maintenance fee. Monthly fee. Awful overdraft charges. Anyway possible they can pimp an extra nickel here or there. Such garbage.
