While I agree that this is exciting, I must admit that I don't necessarily love the idea of one online blockchain controlling everything I do. Convenience doesn't mean that much to me, especially when there is only one or two main people who will control all of this. Ultimately @ned holds all of the keys to his creation, and while it is set up to be more of a community effort, he still has final say as to what happens. Isn't having a decentralized website in the grasp of just a handful of people just as dangerous as a centralized website or government even? I think we maybe want to believe that decentralizing solves all problems, but ultimately that isn't even true now. There are still those in power, and even with spreading out the website through decentralization, people still abuse that power. One of my friends is outright gone now because an ahem particular whale decided to flag him into the ground. Do we really want to connect this system to our personal lives? I don't know if I am down for that, especially if we don't fix this power struggle we currently have. I am not sure how tokens will change that, so maybe I am speaking from a place of ignorance, maybe the tokens work differently than the current control of SP/SBD that the whales have? I will have to look more into that I guess before I speculate, though I am still extremely skeptical...it's just kind of my nature.
