Do you actually here sound? I mean, do they come with sound? Or you would like to here a 'pling' to notify that a notification is showing?
I hear nothing with the current notification setup on windows chrome/firefox if that's what you mean.
The ion.sound js above comes with a bunch of sounds effects and is super easy to drop in and trigger the different sounds.. I made it trigger different sounds depending on notification type so I can tell the difference between an upvote/downvote/comment from a distance - it's helping me obsessively refresh less :)
