The market is making some swift moves and there are more to come. Reacting to news about regulations, revealed ponzi schemes and so on. There's going to be a wave of this. 2018 could be a year of storms in the Cryptocurrency markets.
Investing in Cryptocurrency is the wild wild west of investing. So there will be illegal and unethical schemes.
Investing in Cryptocurrency is the wild wild west of investing. So there will be regulators at the gates scrambling to get in to regulate it.
Investing in Cryptocurrency is the wild wild west of investing. So there will be changes to how the public and governments perceive it, for better or worse.
There will be more market turmoil. More ups and downs. As more money pours into the Cryptocurrency markets, the world must respond. Like firefighters scrambling to control an uncontained wildfire. Governments, regulators, ponzi schemes. The party attracts all the interesting characters and that's beginning to happen in earnest now.
The nice thing about Steem is that, even if its value changes with the times, you can lock it in as Steem Power and acquire more that way just by holding that asset. You can also also earn more by participating in Steemit. While the rest of the coins and the rest of the markets flip out beyond your control, there is a piece of the Cryptocurrency world you can control to some extent.
So the volatility shines a light on Steem and Steemit's particular qualities. This is a good place to put some portion of your Cryptocurrency portfolio.
You a good point of view. And it is very helpful to people who are investing in cryptos. I just want to hear more from you why is it steem power is very safe. What about steem and SBD? I will be following your post. Thank you. @alangrant
SBD has held up pretty well in the long run (thinking about the past few years). So that's not a bad asset to hold either. But I'm not sure to what degree you get more just by holding it. Wheras with Steem Power I do believe you get more just by holding some. It's not a lot, unless you are holding thousands of dollars worth of Steem Power. But it's something. Go look at any "Whale's" wallet. Someone holding a lot of Steem Power, like a million dollars or more worth. Click refresh, watch those numbers climb. Just by holding that asset you get more of that asset, it's just it's generating interest. That adds up over time. To my knowledge, that's not the case with Steem or SBD. So if you can just sit on Steem Power, it's earning you more Steem. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong about any of that.
Awesome work! I`ve re-steemed!
All Steemians should support as much as they can
Thank you for your wonderful work 😊😊
