What a ton of work you have done here. I see bits and pieces of other people's posts here, but I'll over look that for now, as this is mondo-complete! Good stuff.
Thanks for taking the time to put this advice together. It's great for newbies like myself. As a newbie, I intend to post about my journey as I begin developing documentaries on the empowerment of women around the world with the belief that men and women can stand strong together, but I'll also be posting fiction and topics of personal interest, like my family's connection to an infamous serial killer and a royal family. Lots of love, @aescholer
Thanks for the great info. I am saving this one for reference. I was thinking about what the best time for posting was. And whether I should repost content that did not get attention.
Yes, that is why I said that. I posted an article I wrote for my Handwriting Analysis book. Got no views. I was wondering if it was the timing of the post. It was posted last Saturday evening. Something I read here mentioned Monday - Thursday as being better days - more people in front of their computers than during the weekend. Maybe reposting it on one those days. It also seems that the first tag gets more attention if it near the top of the list on the right side of the page.
This is probably the best explanation I have seen as a newbie on how Steem works. Thank you for posting it.
P.S. how do I keep this handy so I can refresh my thinking?
This really answered ALOT of questions for me. Thank you so much for putting this post together. I am experiencing my 2nd day on Steemit, and....I am in love.
That's a lot of information. I am a newbie on Steemit. I think this type of post does help newbie like me learn how Steemit works. Thanks for the information. Followed you and can't wait for your next post.
I am wondering, how do you embed images in a comment, not using copy and paste? I tried using suggested code, but it didn't work out. I'd love if you can help me with this!
The reason why I say without copy and pasting an image is because I can't seem to do that from my mobile devices. :)
Anyway!!! I love it when people are out to help others! Gonna follow you for more helpful advice since I'm a newbie!
Hmmm whenever I try it just loads the link, let me experiment here for proper feedback? Maybe I just see the link where you see the image? https://www.flickr.com/gp/149050294@N05/3j3R35
This is an awesome post, @adil. I know I am late for the comment (been here just a month) but so far, your tips are best information about earning on Steemit while connecting to people. Thank you! Following you now! :)
Thanks for making this post, its helped me to understand how things work a little more, only thing i am wondering is that i notice a lot of the people that have many followers are only Resteeming other peopleβs posts.
Which makes me think that i should hold back my original content until i have built a following and that i should just resteem instead. if you have the time i would appreciate your thoughts on the people who only resteeming but have no content.
I joined Steemit a couple of months ago, and just made my first post yesterday! Been trying to find out more information about the system itself, and you got it all covered!
