RE: The Number One Fix to Improve Steem's Chances for Mainstream Adoption

in #steem6 years ago

there is no substitute for good curation. any incentive that is inserted in the system can be worked around either by using bots or by quid pro quo collusion. so our focus should lean heavily towards increasing the number of curators. we also need machine learning bots to help auto curate one level before handing to off to a human curator. by curation i dont mean upvotes. i really mean grading the article on some scale of 1-10 based on parameters like grammar, style, formatting, content quality (expert needed) and other suitable parameters.

this is harder but worth it. make an interface like a digital library which automatically shows us these curated articles and gives us a way to sort on the curated parameters.

Sort:

it is a long shot that will pan out when AI peeps make more headway in their respective tech-districts. Funny how we will look back on these discussions and wonder what the fuse was all about anyway.
