I have been watching Steem price, and it is been holding steady in the 7-8 dollar range.
But there seems to be more gas in the tank for Steem to really rise up and break more records.
The winds of change are being whispered here and there in cryptoland, looking after the fact at which coins have been doing well in the past week. Small coins worth a penny to a dollar have been climbing sky high, but I do believe it is not the value of those coins that is the attraction, but the sheer scope of the projects.
In the 2nd half of 2018, I expect EOS to trample over everything in the crypto market for similar reasons. This is only just the beginning, we have more to come folks!
Am I being too optimistic in my chart below, or am I hoping for Steem to make a large precedent and attract lots of new eyes from the normal crypto markets? Who knows, but I believe a strong run is possible. I might be off on the timing, but I believe I am correct on the growth potential.
Just don't take what I am saying or showing as investment advice, because I cannot be held responsible for your choices.
The Human comes to life encased in a shell of protection, but to grow we must crack and then finally break that shell, having faith that as we grow we will not need the protection we once felt safe inside.
Steem still seems undervalued to me, compared to lots of other cryptos. The Vice ICO could push the price up more and that could be the first of many. I hope Steem reaches its full potential in 2018, just wish I had bought more when it was around $1 but I had a limited budget.
I don't, too optimistic. Steemit has REALLY stale and repetitive content. It needs to attract people whose sole focus isn't crypto. d.tube is a good auxiliary and can possibly attract more people easier than a text based site.
Nothing wrong with the structure of STEEMIT, I think it is a smart way to derive value, but my first point is my biggest concern.
I could talk and post about crypto, but there so much of it already, thats why I am trying to diversify and offer something that isn't here yet. Whether that be more info about the grand solar minimum, chemtrails, race realism, politics, Shitlam, the perils of Zionism/Communism, etc.
Another thing is the UI, not very freindly for older or inexperienced people in crypto space, but even just social media space. This is a little more involved than reddit or something, but I think that barrier is a good thing, at least until STEEMIT can generate more exciting content.
