Im deathly afraid of someoe trying to "seize" my our all of our steemit accounts...i can see it coming, its like a big future headache...steemit.com will go down and without steemit.com there is NO way for ANY of us to get to our steem wallets!

and everyone who never believed in us will go "see i told u so it ws a ponzi! they ran away with ur money!"
and meanwhile it will have been a simple DDOS attack but steemit will go down...

or steemit.com will be seized by the federal government for "not paying taxes" or "operating an illegal unlicensed money transfer system"
yeah it wont make it orally right,, but it wont matter

And I know we have busy.org steamd.com and beta.chainbb.com and alot of backup websites to show the steemit blockchain..But Am I mistaken in remembering that so far there is NO other way to access our steem wallets on steemit.com ? All that steempower, its worthless if we cant access it....

I am hoping there Is a way ...and tthe very fact of having your PASSWORD is ENOUGh and tyour steemit password IS baically worth as much as however much steem or steempower you have in your account!

so if you had 10,000$ in your account and u could go verify that without stemit.com being up whch Im guessing you can, then you can always go and sell your password even if steemit.com is down! that is another way

so i a guess I am wrong! I proved myself wrong! I guess since noone can destroy or "take down" the steem blockchain, that if steemitcom was every attempted to be seized and the feds DEMANDED that steem developers give up all the users accounts and their funds, they wouldnt BE ABLE to AND they could qquickly open up whatever they had to open to allow a backup site to not only allow creattiion of new accounts with posting keys antransfer keys, and wallets included with those accounts, (which im not sure why anyone cant just do that now, like the Posting key is more valuable tan your private key! the posting key is what allowsyou to post and make money realy! and thats controlled at steemit.com right but can for example golos or zappl or chainBB ive out theur own accounts with own posting keys?

i know how steemit.com is centralized but steem blockchain is decentralized so im owndering could someone make their own steem based website that used steem blockchainnd created theor own accounts and allowed users to mine and witness their ownsteem sepperate from steemit.com? or would all sites show the same content?
IS there any way to access your steem or SBD or initiate a power down if steemit.com is down???

Because yeah as long as someone has a copy of the steem blockchain with the ledger of who has al the steem, its fucking golden!

Its just as good and useful and valuabble as bitcoin with even MORE possibilities!
