I'm pretty sure FTG has pulled his delegation (temporarily?) not because of what Steem-ua may or may or may not be doing. Check a reply of mine to Bernie earlier today for more info.
When steem-UA first started out, they were testing on utopian-io posts, who I believe supported the development and testing of the product.
Based on your findings, it does seem that this niche is receiving good support still. I will wait for the steem-ua team to comment further.

I think that the figures pulled are the top utopian post, compared to the lowest non-utopian posts?
The project, in my eyes, is still worth backing, and I'm confident FTG will return to the fray after this particular disagreement is resolved.
It would be nice if I know someone with the SQL expertise to do a query... Based on upvote weight, which #tag does steem-ua favor? ;)

Upvotes seem to be given in rounds. One round are for utopian-io members and the next for non-utopian-io members (rest of steem community). Those are snippets from the end/start of the next round of votes.
From what I can see in the last couple days, it is the utopian posts that receive the biggest upvotes. If you check out steemworld right now, @steem-ua is currently in the round for upvoting posts by uptopian-io. Once that is complete, the logic will start with the rest of the Steem community, which starts around 3% and continues depreciating.

Hi, it's very difficult to explain in simple terms, but let me try nonetheless:
UA_Votescore, which is then - per batch - ranked relatively to all other posts in the batch;wow, just saw that one @beeyou. I've been wondering the same lately and am nearing the point where I'll keep some relationships going via Discord, and forget about all of this. That post you linked to is just sad ... the arguments going on in the comments ... well let's just say I've witnessed that teaching school for years out on the playground.
Hey Lynn. We just wait to see how things go around here. I'm enjoying the SM game so my interest is there. Not much we can do on here. Recess period is recommended for the soul. :)
