Option 1 - Maybe find a tire iron for personal protection. Probably no food in an abandoned box van. Probably not the best hiding place. But maybe hiding in plain sight will work. And maybe there will be some scraps or crumbs in the van for me. Or other useful supplies. Maybe a first aid kit, too?
