Steemit.com has gotten its own logo next to the familiar Steem blockchain logo. It also got some really cool layout and performance updates. Steemy goes through all the changes and talks about what else people expect from the SteemFest in Lisbon starting today.
Steemit.com has now its own logo. Two entwined speech bubbles forming an S. They also added a new color scheme with turquise highlights. The coolest update is the night mode that puts the entire website into a dark color scheme. Check out the official announcement from @steemitblog where they also tease a cool looking mobile version.

Right now. Once you are typing its AUTOMATIC. Just look at the left lower corner of your tablet/laptop, you will see "Draft saved" appearing and disappearing depending on your rate of entry! Its super-cool!
Now even if I reload the page, whats saved wont wipe away!
You can do draft posts? I didn find that function. How do you do that?

Old is better. I think a change of Logo is a big think, it is dangerous.
The Steem logo is for the Steem token and remains in place for Steem. This new branding is for Steemit Inc website only.

Thanks for the update. I think the branding differentiation is an important step for release of STMs and other apps that will be using Steem.
Didn't even realize it was an s. I can somewhat see it though. The logo also reminds me of another logo, i can't seem to remember what it is. Tried looking for it but all I can remember is that the color scheme is red and white. That's going to bother me now. Hopefully it pops in my head
