I want to thank you @luzcypher ...for taking the time to compile this all on one post. The links provided are likely...I'm certain...just as invaluable to guppies, redfish, groupers and dolphins alike. Whales as well I should imagine.
I've scanned it, just a bit busy at the moment...as most are here at Steemit I imagine. I can clearly see that this is an important "users manual" and IMO should be stickied somewhere at the entry portal to this platform. Until then I'm going to resteem this...to share with my followers and just importantly to give myself easy access to the knowledge within.
I think the more Steemians who resteem it the more it will become recognized as the beginner's guide to Steemit...breaking out into the SEO hights where anyone who searches the internet for STEEM, SBD, Steemit, blog/vlogging, etc...will find this in the top five...thus catching more interest and new Steemians.
I'm not just blow'n smoke up your ass here...just telling it the way I see it. Don't know who you are...but I know you care about the community...and I trust you're successful here and enjoy the vast majority of the time you spend here.
I agree 100% that giving in to the beggars here is not doing a serious Steemian any favours. Best we all decide on that from the get-go. Iggy them out of existance...create a list where decent, hard working Steemians can check daily and mute them into oblivion. I know...it sounds harsh...but it's up to all of us to figure out how to keep this ocean as clean and toxin free as possible.
Persistence is the overriding factor for success here...that's a given that any loved and respected Steemian already knows. I expect Quality is key too but one person's trash is another's treasure...a close second imo would be loyalty to who you follow and those who follow you.
Sorry about the long gushhhhhh...I did my best to restrain myself but you just saved me a ton of work...because until I saw this I was compiling just this kind of information myself for a future post of my own. Now I can go back to surfing my feed and continue to enjoy all the excellent content found at Steemit...not to mention the fun meeting new people from all walks of the "walking-world"...sweet! :D
If you're reading this...anyone at all...isn't it clear by now that you need this in your feed? The only way to do that is to resteem it. Do it now! If you don't know how...don't be shy...ask and I'll reply...but really...look up...wayyyyy up ~smiles~ just to the right of the "votes" tally to this post ( @luzcypher 's ...not my reply here) is a grey barbed hook...click on it...and when it's green you know it's in your feed...on your blog page...plus...although not required, your vote whether you have any SP (steem power) or not...will be registered...thus creating more exposure for everyone who hasn't seen or heard about this.
Again...bravo @luzcypher ...and thank you!
~may all hatred cease...let there be peace...
EDIT: lol...had no idea how long that was...never wanted to delete something as much as I want to delete this...but I won't...as foolish as it looks. I meant every word...from the heart...to my fingertips...to the keyboard.
If you want it gone...just say the word and I'll delete it...happily.
peace out...in
What application is it?
Hi @ijoel ...I'm uncertain what it is you're asking me.
What application is what? ~smiles~
