Woah, first time I walk amongst this realm. So lemme at it.

The Points
- If it weren't for the fact they literally gave birth to the entirity of the human race, then we wouldn't be having birth/death rates. In fact, they have to suffer through that shit of birthing and carrying us when we were babies.
- Babies, before learning language, can have all their desires understood and fulfilled by the mother rather better than the father in most cases. In fact there's a reason why psychoanalytic theory pays more attention to the Mother (or a motherly figure) more in a child's development than the Father (or a fatherly figure).
- Because of the fact that the mother literally procreated a baby into existence, they more than likely, will rather protect and sacrifice for the baby with all their life than give it up - though that isn't to say the father won't due the same, just they don't have the emotional baggage of point number one.

(But in all seriousness, fathers are equal to mothers in every other respect. And circumstances can make these two parenting figures better or worse in the long run - instincts are just habits merely exercised for long periods of time.)
